Bad joke maybe, but it has been announced by Sky Living through their Facebook page that they no longer have any interested in renewing Most Haunted for another series or one off episode which I’m sure sounds like fantastic news to many if not all sceptics out there. However Sky Living went on to state that Antix Productions which is owned by Karl Beatties will be given the rights that allow them to take the show to other stations.
Sky Living:- We have decided not to re-commission Most Haunted and will be giving Antix Productions the right to take it to another channel if they wish. We would like to thank Yvette Fielding and Karl Beattie for all of their hard work and commitment over the years .

Don’t worry if you need to fill up with all things paranormal and supernatural, Sally Morgan is sticking on the Sky Living screens for a while longer as is the Bedlam series.
We recognise our customer’s appetite for paranormal programming and have recently aired a series about popular psychic Sally Morgan and original scripted drama Bedlam, which proved to be the channel’s most successful commissioned series in its history.
Many praised the end of Most Haunted and were calling for it over the years to be axed. They believe it didn’t come sooner enough. Despite all the debunking of the show, allegations and gossip, Most Haunted still seems to stick in the hearts of many even with the loss of Derek Acorah when he left the show some years back.
So will you be watching if it meets our screens again? Do you welcome the idea of Most Haunted coming back from the dead? Do think it should remain buried in the history of good or poor TV?

So with that in mind I would suggest your AVG installation is producing false positives as AVG on their website state the url is fine.

Ghost Hunters takes a more scientific approach to ghost hunting and are honest when telling if they have found a ghost or if there is another explanation.

Ghost hunters don’t always get evidence in there cases and try to debunk which in my opinion is more believable than most haunted who claim in every episode there’s activity that you never even see……

As far as im concerned MH , TAPS/GH , GA and the rest are a) unscientific , b) faked c) responsible for the current raft of people that think that they can run extortionate events companies under the guise of scientific research.

Yes ill watch it just to see where they go – as i see it they did over 100 shows and i reason that the stress alone from watching them means ive lost 100 days off of my life.
I agree with Debs that there must be change or there is no credibility. However id also say that as TV shows go its an entertainment package NOT a serious or scientific examination of alleged paranormal events in a location.
The problem is that many events companies see this method as a fast way to make some cash from people that are thrill seeking or dont know any better and consequently MH , GH/TAPS , GA and the ilk have much to answer for.

Yes it was just for entertainment purposes but to allegedly stage things was a turn off for me. But any team can be like that. Its a matter of taste and personal opinion. I do prefer GHI and TAPS myself.

It was because of MH that the UK now has such a huge interest in the paranormal. Indeed, it’s because of MH that we now have many, many paranormal groups across the UK, which would never have happened if it weren’t for MH.

I’m not sure its all down to Most Haunted in relation to interest levels however that certainly does help a great deal. There are a number of other shows and growing spiritualist churches, alternate shops and of course the growing need for something other than the bible and religion to believe in.
I know many think the paranormal would have been a better place without such shows though.
